The Architect’s Guardian: Chapter 19

The Architect’s Guardian, Chapter 19 is up! Here’s an excerpt:

Armando’s remark only served to further irritate Izdahl. He knew he had overstepped his bounds, not thinking of the consequences of publically downplaying the importance of another clan’s leader. While everyone knew the hierarchy, it was particularly in bad form for one Kelcho’s follower to be dismissive of another Kelcho. During the time when the clans had their most brutal feuds, battles were started over those types of insults; the Nitelge pride had overrode their restraint.

Balance: Chapter 18

Balance Chapter 18 is an emotional ride for both Kouta and Ryuu. Here’s an excerpt:

The most difficult part of the issue was hearing the entertainment reporters debate about how Ryuu would react. It increased Kouta’s concern. Ryuu would be returning soon and Kouta wasn’t ready to face him. He didn’t think it was possible to be prepared to explain things to Ryuu. He knew how much his lover valued privacy. Yet his actions had touched off a situation that had the press doing further prying.

Vaironian Tides: Chapter 18

Vaironian Tides Chapter 18 has many developments!  Here’s a small part:

As he listened to Tolrek’s recounting of the brawl, Darion marveled at how the rebel managed to charm himself out of so many situations. But, Darion knew he had larger worries. Tolrek had almost heard the truth about his background. Now, the negotiator realized that the rebel would store the Behadan’s words in his mind. There was only so much Darion could do to prevent Tolrek from investigating.

The Architect’s Guardian: Chapter 18

It’s Chapter 18 of The Architect’s Guardian! This was one of my favorites to write. Here’s just a bit:

Armando reached again for the light and, again, Izdahl stopped him. This time he pinned Armando’s hands to his side. The ease with which he did it was unnerving. Armando knew Izdahl was considerably stronger than him but it was rare that his lover casually displayed that. Izdahl’s next words didn’t help to ease the apprehension Armando was feeling. There was a roughness to his lover’s voice that Armando had not previously heard.

Balance: Chapter 17

I’ve added Balance Chapter 17! Here’s an excerpt:

Kouta shrugged nonchalantly and laughed; he knew each concert in a tour usually had a few unique moments. The fans roared in answer, when he stood up. He slowly began to raise his t-shirt, teasing the audience with each bit of skin revealed. He paused for effect, when the shirt was just above his navel. The white t-shirt contrasted with his skin and the thin line of dark hair on his stomach.

Kouta and Ryuu Updates!

Kouta and Ryuu have posted remarks under their sections in The Characters Say…

Kouta, as usual, is more open with his thoughts.  He looked back over his two years with Ryuu and has come to some realizations.  Ryuu, reluctantly, shared a bit of what he’s thinking too.  Overtime, he might be more revealing.  For the moment, he’s protecting his feelings like he protects Kouta.

Vaironian Tides: Chapter 17

Chapter 17 of Vaironian Tides is up!  Some bits and pieces:

In Tildari culture, lovers often spoke each other’s middle names during intense moments of pleasure. It had been the same between Darion and Jarrick. It was times like those that Jarrick now thought of and the memories drove into his heart. Darion had known that would happen. He had not forgotten that Jarrick’s strongest releases occurred when his middle name was called with loving fervor.

The Architect’s Guardian: Chapter 17

The Architect’s Guardian Chapter 17 has been posted.  Here’s a snippet:

Dagmar saw a flash of annoyance travel across Izdahl’s face. The Kelcho was determined to compound it and chuckled lightly. He patted Izdahl on his face.  Izdahl swallowed the comment that wanted to burst from his throat. Instead of lashing out, he moved a small distance away. He knew if he went too far, he’d have to answer to his parents, his grandfather, his great-grandmother…and most of all Armando. He knew his lover disliked scenes, especially in public.

Vaironian Tides: Chapter 16

Chapter 16 of Vaironian Tides is up!  Some bits and pieces:

Tolrek was suddenly at Darion’s eye-level. The negotiator had picked up the rebel, shaking him several times. Darion appeared to be one rude comment away from throwing him.

“You would do well to control your mouth,” the negotiator said, his voice a low, dangerous, rumble. His arms shook, not from the strain of holding Tolrek but from the struggle to keep himself from hurting the rebel. “Surely, I have been quite indulgent.”
