My description of Izdahl Amasi‘s wings, in The Architect’s Guardian, was inspired by Jiuge’s artwork. Blue is my absolute favorite color and the vividness of this picture really spoke to me.
For a while, I’d been hearing about the series, Spartacus. Once I saw the first few episodes, I had to savor them all in their original glory.
My absolute favorite couple from the show is Nasir and Agron (Nagron)! Dan Feuerriegel (Agron) and Pana Hema Taylor (Nasir) did a fantastic job playing those characters. I highly recommend the series, not only for Dan and Pana but for the entire phenomenal cast and crew. In the meantime, check out this ode to Nagron:
After a particularly stressful few months, Darion and Tolrek get some time to focus on each other. Tolrek knows exactly how he wants to begin the day, in Vaironian Tides, Chapter 33. Here’s an excerpt:
Tolrek smiled, as the soft lighting from a lamp that he’d turned on showcased his lover’s body. He admired the contours of Darion’s physique, which the negotiator had worked so diligently to refine, battling through months of painful recovery. Tolrek had thought for quite some time that Darion was incredibly handsome. However, the negotiator’s robust determination to regain his health after Meric’s attack was especially appealing. If anything, Darion was even more fit. His efforts were highly appreciated and Tolrek was eager to illustrate that to him.
Armando demonstrates his new powers for Izdahl, in The Architect’s Guardian, Chapter 39. Here’s an excerpt:
Izdahl felt his energy suddenly dip severely and he struggled to stay in the air. Armando gave him a feral grin. Izdahl laughed softly, defiantly beginning to enjoy himself. He rarely saw Armando this agitated and the architect’s arrogance brought out the mischief in him.
Darion hopes the negotiations will bring Meric Treih under Vaironian control but events take an unexpected turn, in Vaironian Tides, Chapter 32. Here’s an excerpt:
Darion had been careful to manage his reactions, as he considered a series of possibilities, none of which he liked. The main factor that went through his mind was that the negotiations were a ploy to get him out in the open, so that Meric could make another attempt on his life. Each side had various guards posted in the negotiation room; Darion still understood that didn’t mean an assassination could not be carried out.
Kouta and Ryuu attend the premiere of Ryuu’s second film in Balance, Chapter 31, which is the final chapter of this story. Here’s an excerpt:
Kouta left the car first and then motioned to Ryuu. After taking a deep breath, Ryuu stepped out too. The already excited crowd became even louder. Kouta could feel Ryuu start to shrink away from the depth of the reaction. While Ryuu’s first movie had done well, its initial release hadn’t received the same attention. Ryuu looked at Kouta for support.
Thank you so much for reading! I’ll be preparing this story for publication…
I really enjoy watching my international dramas. DramaFever has a whole new way for me to check them out. ;-p

Last year, I fortunately stumbled onto HamletMachine’s Starfighter Comic. While you can certainly check out her work on the web, support her and buy the merchandise too. There’s also a Kickstarter for a visual novel!
Tolrek Marou loves his robots/mecha. If he lived in our world, he’d learn whatever he could about the Gundam franchise. His favorite character would be Heero Yuy and he’d have a model of Wing Gundam Zero.
